We're always looking at ways to help reduce our planet's carbon footprint and to help even more we've introduced a new shipping method; you can now choose to add a 10p carbon offset donation to your delivery charge so that your parcel's delivery is carbon balanced.
We didn't want the donations to be used to plant trees in this country (which the government have said doesn't count as a way of offsetting carbon emmissions). So at Love Lula we are giving the donations directly to a fab little charity in India called Streetkids (http://www.skcv.com/ ) - they're currently raising money for a new village for homeless girls and will use the funds you donate to buy renewable energy resources to power the village. We'll keep you posted on how the funds are being spent with regular postcards from the charity.
