LOTW: Pukka Rosewater

Pukka Rosewater (certified organic by the Soil Association) has become one of my skincare must haves this summer - it's such a multi functional product that suits every skin type. I've been spritzing it on my skin during the day to keep it cool and hydrated in the summer sun.

Rose petals treat the heart, nerves and lift the spirits. They have an affinity for the blood and have a certain astringency that reduces inflammation and stops sweating.

Organic rosewater is great for menopausal hot sweats and summer prickly heat. You can use Pukka Rosewater as a spray to help ease hot flushes and to swiftly freshen up in a waft of glorious rose essence.

Organic rosewater is traditionally used in Ayurveda for toning the skin. It can be used as a cleanser (on organic cotton wool) or a natural toner to help reduce skin blemishes and oily skin. Rosewater has been used for centuries to help reduce fine lines and enhance beauty.

Pukka's pure organic rosewater is distilled from roses grown at a high altitude to optimise essential oil content, the roses are hand picked at dawn and before sunrise to protect their valuable aromatic oils from being evaporated. They are then gently steam-distilled for optimum extraction of the wonderful fragrance.

Pukka Rosewater is now available at LoveLula.com.
